Marimon-Hren Family

Hi, everyone!

I recently had such a fun session with this lovely family.  I truly have the best clients ever!  This family was no exception, either.  Big sister loves to run around and explore, and had such a blast running through the leaves.  Meanwhile, little miss is starting to discover her toes!

We met at Westmoor Park.  I grew up visiting this park when I was a child, and now I love shooting there because I can continue to explore all of the natural beauty that's there.  The best part - the leaves were at the perfect peak color!

Mom and dad told me they were a little concerned that the kids would be run down after a long week, but they did so great and it made for truly an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of Shannon:

“Make sure to allow plenty of time for getting out the door in the morning. With little ones, there are always last minute delays! As well, a brush comes in handy to tame wild hair,” she says. Solid advice!

Okay, on to pictures!

Thalia String Quartet

The Thalia String Quartet came to New Haven a few weeks ago for auditions for various summer programs, so I met up with them for a super quick and relaxed shoot.  They'll be spending time in June at the Banff Music Center, and then the bulk of the summer at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival here in Connecticut!  Many congratulations to this talented quartet!  They can be found on Facebook here.

Portraits for Sarabell Knits

Sara is a good friend of mine, and runs her own business selling knit accessories.  They are AWESOME!  She is such a creative person.  Check out her shop on Etsy and her Facebook page!

Long time no post

Wow, it was a busy and fun holiday season at the studio!  Lots of new faces, and a lot of repeat customers as well!  Now that things have slowed down at the studio, I am taking the time to re-build my website from the very beginning, and I cannot wait to see how it turns out!  For the time being, you can stay updated on all things Jen Abraham Photography by visiting my facebook fan page.  I am also staying busy booking new headshots and portraits for this spring!  Easter is early this year, which means I have many openings starting April 1st.  Don't wait to book your session though, because they go quickly!

I hope everyone had a happy and healthy end to 2012, and wish you all the very best for 2013.  I'm excited to see where my business will go this year!

Cleveland Musicians

Once or twice a year, I take a trip out to Cleveland, Ohio to visit with my sister and also my best friend who lives about an hour away.  I end up making a business/vacation out of it, and this is the result of my most recent trip in October!
